Assam Men’s Basketball Team Secures Victory in U-23 National Championship
Assam men’s basketball team defeated Goa 78-61 in their opening match, while the women’s team lost 49-66 to Rajasthan at the U-23 National Championship.

GUWAHATI: Assam men’s basketball team got off to a winning start in the U-23 National Basketball Championship at the Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium here today. The host defeated Goa 78-61 in their opening match. However, Assam women’s team faced a setback in their opening game, losing to Rajasthan 66-49. Despite a strong performance in the early stages, Assam couldn’t maintain the momentum.
Although the competition officially began on Monday, the matches kicked off this morning.
