Assam T20 Challengers Trophy: Brahmaputra win in super over

GUWAHATI: The 1st Assam T20 Challengers Trophy witnessed first tie match today. The game between Kaziranga Heroes and Brahmaputra Boys ended in a tie at the Judges's Field on Tuesday. Later Brahmaputra Boys won the game in the super over.

Invited to bat, Kaziranga Heroes were all out on 77 in 10 overs (overs reduced due to wet field). Brahmaputra Boys also scored 77 losing six wickets in their stipulated 10 overs. In the super over, Brahmaputra Boys defended 13 runs as Kaziranga finished 9-1 in their single over.

Earlier Dihing Patkai Riders and Barak Bravehearts match was abandoned due to wet outfield.

Brief scores: Kaziranga Heroes 77 (10 overs)- Amit Sinha 19, Kalam Raja 19, Kunal Sarma 3-10, Pushparaj Sharma 2-8. Brahmaputra Boys 77/6 (10 overs)- Rishav Das 25, Amit Sinha 2-10.

Super Over: Brahmaputra Boys 13/2 (1 over), Kaziranga Heroes 9/1 (1 over).
