Assam win 10 medals on day I in the East Zone Athletics Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam bagged 10 medals on day I in the East Zone Athletics Championship in Kolkata today. Among the ten medals 2 are gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze.

Medal winners: Gold-Juganta Changmai (Discuss), Sneha Deka (60m run). Silver-Denim Barua (High jump), Mohan Boro (60m run), Pahi Keot (1500m run). Bronze-Changmir Teringpi (3000m run), Parthapratim Buragohain (Shotput), Hemanga Borgohain (High jump), Raj Kishore Das (100m) and Kapil Lahon (Discuss).
