Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Throwball Association (APTA) secretary Bamang Takey has been elected an executive member of the Throwball Federation of India.

Takey was elected an executive member of the Throwball Federation of India (TFI) during its election for the executive committee/governing body (2025-29) held at Bhilai, Chhattisgarh recently.

Terming Takey’s election as ‘historic’, APTA president Jamru Ruja has congratulated the former on his achievement.

“His election to the national governing body is a testament to his dedication and efforts in promoting Throwball,” Ruja said.

Wishing Takey success, he expressed hope that he will contribute significantly to the growth and development of the sport in the country.
