GUWAHATI: Delhi beat Assam by 72 runs in the Senior Women One Day Cricket Championship held at Dehradun today. Chasing 270 runs to win Assam scored 197-7 in their stipulated 50 overs. Opener Ruhina Pegu (52) and Rashmi Dey (58) scored half centuries while Archana Dutta contributed 45 runs on the board. Earlier Delhi, rode on a solid unbeaten century from Pratika (181), put 269-4 on the board. Ayushi Soni (87) also played well with the bat. Papori Gogoi, 2-57, was the most successful bowler for Assam.
