District bodybuilding, yoga, arm wrestling meet concludes in Dhubri

DHUBRI: The Dhubri District bodybuilding, yoga and arm wrestling competition, organized under the auspices of Dhubri District Physical and Cultural Association, concluded at District Library Auditorium recently. Nearly 200 participants from various parts of the district took part in the two-day competition and besides some winning trophies from them, all participants learnt importance tips from experts about how to improve their ability and skills in bodybuilding, yoga and arm wrestling for future competitions. In bodybuilding competition, Mr. Dhubri honour was clinched by Niloy Kumar Basumatari of Golokganj while Hemanta Roy of Dhubri was adjudged as Man Physique and Dhubri Kumar and Kaushik Dey of Dhubri won the Master Mr. Dhubri title. In yogasan competition, Yog Kumar title went to Krishna Chandra Paul of Gauripur while Nibedita Das was adjudged as Yog Kumari. In arm wrestling competition, Anup Malakar and Dalimi Roy of Golokganj, were adjudged Best in man and woman respectively.
