Double crown for Antariksh Tamuly in 29th All Assam Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: Antariksh Tamuly of Golaghat lifted the double crown in the 29th All Assam Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament which concluded today at the North East Tennis Foundation courts. In the boys U-14 singles Antariksh defeated Pritam Barua of NETF 6-0, 6-4 while in the U-18 singles Antariksh beat Promit Bordoloi of Jorhat in a grueling three-setter 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. Ramanuj Dutta, General Manager of Oil India Limited, attended the closing function as the chief guest.

RESULTS:- Boys and Girls U-10 combined final: Chandogya T Pathak def Simanta Gogoi. 4-0, 4-0. Boys U-12 final: Raunak Kashyap def Ritik Rout. 6-2, 6-4.Boys U-14 final: Antariksh Tamuly def Pritam Barua. 6-0, 6-4.Boys U-18 final: Antariksh Tamuly def Promit Bordoloi. 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.Girls U-14 final: Tania Kumari def Nayanika Deka. 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Girls U-18 final: Justina Borgohain def Tanishqa Patar. 6-3, 6-1.
