GUWAHATI: Elite Cricket Academy secured a comfortable 6-wicket win over BNCCA in the 10th Sitaram Chhawchharia Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament, held at the NFRSA Stadium in Maligaon on Friday. After electing to bat first, BNCCA struggled to put up a competitive total and were bowled out for just 91 runs in 25.4 overs. Beer Oniket Prasad was the top scorer with 26 runs. Elite’s bowlers delivered a disciplined performance, with Shreyansh Agarwal (2/5), Dyutimoy Nath (2/9), and Jashwant Deka (2/15) picking up two wickets each. Chasing a modest target, Elite Cricket Academy reached 92 for 4 in just 19.1 overs to seal the win. Dipumoni Bordoloi led the chase with an unbeaten 38. Despite a strong effort from BNCCA’s Aditya Barman, who claimed all four wickets for 34 runs, Elite cruised to victory.
