Gargi Saikia Clinches Triple Crown at All Assam TT Tournament

GUWAHATI: Guwahati’s rising table tennis star Gargi Saikia delivered a stellar performance at the All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, securing a remarkable triple crown. Gargi claimed titles in the U-17 Girls, U-19 Girls, and Women’s categories which also helped her to bag player of the tournament award. The competition was concluded at Silchar on Sunday.

Others Results:  U - 11 Boy’s :  Rayan karmakar( Sivsagar): Champion. M Zenith Sinha : Runner Up ( Silchar), Tanmoy Dutta ( Sivsagar) and Nilotpal Sarma ( Mangaldai): 3rd Position.

U - 11 Girl’s:  Jenessa Bipul( Guwahati): Champion,  Afrin Rahman( Dibrugarh) : Runner – Up,  Priyangshi Debnath(Lakhimpur) and  Iris Baruah (Golaghat) : 3rd Position.

U- 13 Girl’s: . Divija Paul ( Silchar) : Champion,  Ishani Gogoi ( Guwahati) : Runner Up,  Nafiza Razia( Guwahati)  and Reepika Bhuyan( Dibrugarh) : 3rd Position.

U-13 Boys: 1. Satvik Phukon( Mangaldai) : Champion,  Rayan Borthakur (Sivsagar): Runner Up, M Zenith Singha( Silchar)  and Biprajit Paul( Silchar): 3rd Position. 

U-15 Girl’s :  Akshita Roy(Guwahati): Champion,  Divija Paul (Silchar): Runner Up,  Prapti Bharadwaj (Guwahati) and Akansha Saha (Guwahati): 3rd Position.

U -15 Boy’s:  Adrik Gogoi( Dibrugarh): Champion,  Abikshit Changmai (Dibrugarh): Runner Up:  Arohan Das (Sivsagar) and Jihan Ahmed ( Sivsagar): 3rd Position.

U- 17 Girl’s:  Gargi Saikia ( Guwahati): Champion,  Chayashree Kakati ( Guwahati): Runner Up,  Devika Barman ( Guwahati) and Prakriti P Singh ( Guwahati): 3rd Position.

U-17 Boy’s:  Swapnanil Dutta ( Dibrugarh): Champion, Samarth Modi (Dibrugarh): Runner Up, Divyansh Kashyap ( Guwahati)  and  Abhivk Kashyap (Guwahati): 3rd Position. 

U-19 Girl’s: 1. Gargi Saikia  Guwahati) : Champion, Devika Barman( Guwahati) : Runner Up,  Bhumika Kaushik( Guwahati) and  Anoushna Das ( Sivsagar): 3rd Position.

U- 19 Boy’s:  Divyaj R Roy (Guwahati): Champion, Dristanta Bora( Dibrugarh): Runners Up,  Swapnanil Dutta ( Dibrugarh) and Arnesh Baruah( Jorhat): 3rd Position.

Women’s:  Gargi Saikia (Guwahati): Champion, Bhavna Kashyap ( Guwahati) : Runner Up, Bhumika Kaushik ( Guwahati) and  Manushree Medhi (Guwahati): 3rd Position.

Men’s:  Agniv B Gohain ( OIL): Champion,  Anol Kashyap ( OIL): Runner Up. Abhivk Kashyap( Guwahati) and Afrid S Rahman ( Sivsagar): 3rd Position.
