Good Run Continues for Assam School in U-17 Subroto Cup Soccer Championship

GUWAHATI: Good run of Bampather Benagenabari Higher Secondary School, Assam continued in the U-17 Subroto Cup Soccer championship at Delhi today. In their third league game, the side thrashed Muslim Centre College, Sri Lanka 15-0. Siva Tanti alone scored five goals while AR Das and M Mahela netted three goals each. K Dey (2), KM Saikia, and B Basumatari were the other scorers.

Secondary School, Motum (East Siang), Arunachal Pradesh -2 (Okitering Megu, Atanu Siram) bt. Sainik School, Imphal – 1 (Rameshchandra). SAI, NSEC, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 1 (Uttam Kajur) bt. Tripura Sports School – 0. Hopewell Elias Higher Secondary School, Shillong, Meghalaya – 3 bt. Thakur College Science and Commerce, Maharashtra – 0 (Lyngkai, Kharboli, Suchen).
