
TEZPUR: The 4th edition of Freedom Fighter Jhagaru Gour Memorial Football Tournament, organized by the Aadhunik India Foundation, in collaboration with the GAJRAJ CORPS of the Indian Army kicked off yesterday at Sonabeel Tea Estate in Sonitpur district. The tournament will continue till August 24.
The grand opening ceremony was graced by Brigadier Tanuj Pandey, Commander of the 106 Artillery Brigade, as the Chief Guest. The opening match was held between Bhooteachang Tea Estate and Tezpore Ghogra FC and Tezpur outfit won the tie by 2-0.
