Guwahati and Secretary XI shared points in RG Baruah match

GUWAHATI: Guwahati and Secretary XI shared points in the RG Baruah U-16 Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Nehru Stadium today, as the match ended without either side completing their first innings.

Batting first, Secretary XI posted a total of 240 runs, with Kaustav Gogoi top-scoring with 72. Sameer Mahato impressed with the ball, claiming 5 wickets for 74 runs. In reply, Guwahati reached 142 for 4 in 58 overs before play concluded. Partha Pratim Kashyap led the scoring with 56 runs, while Bhavyamanyu Baruah contributed 38. Siddhartha Das picked up 2 wickets for 35 runs.

With no result possible, both teams were awarded one point each.
