GUWAHATI: The Guwahati City Chess Championship 2025, featuring competitions in the Under-7, Under-11, and Under-15 categories for both boys and girls concluded at Shikshak Bhawan, Chandmari on Tuesday. A total of 124 players participated in the tournament.
In the Under-15 boys’ category, Tanmay Chakraborty emerged champion, while Hridika Das secured the title in the girls’ section with a perfect score of five points from five rounds. The Under-11 champions were Aarohan (boys) and Chaarvi Shree Barman (girls), while Reyaan Nobis and Ahana Agarwala won in the Under-7 boys’ and girls’ categories, respectively.
