Guwahati: Kristi, Nibras in Final of OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: Assam’s Kristi Haloi put up a dominant performance to reach the finals in both the U-12 and U-14 girls’ singles categories at the OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament, being held at the ATTA Complex in Guwahati on Thursday.

In the boys’ U-14 category, another player of the Stae Nibras Hussain also booked his spot in the final. All finals of the tournament will be played at the ATTA Complex on Friday.

Results of semi finals (Singles): Boys U-14: Nibras Hussain (AS) Beat Chandra Mohanty (AS)  6-2, 6-1. Avinash Roy (BR) Beat Enrich Patar (AS) 2-6, 6-4, 6-2. Girls U-14: Sanrachana Das (OD) Beat Aanya Biswas (WB) 6-1, 6-1. Kristi Haloi (AS) Beat Sanskriti Borah (AS) 6-1, 6-4. Boys U-12: Ahan Bhattacharyya (MH) Beat Kumar Kautilya (CG) 6-4, 6-1, Atharv Narasinghani (WB) Beat Haris Khan (UP) 7-5, 4-6, 6-2. Girls U-12: Meear S Chaudhary (UK) Beat Kaashvi Konanki (KA) 6-1, 6-0, Kristi Haloi (AS) Beat Evana Arora (WB 6-1, 6-2.
