Guwahati leg Assam Premier Club Championship: ASEB Sports Club beat SG Club

GUWAHATI: ASEB Sports Club beat SG Club by 29 runs in a group match of Guwahati leg Assam Premier Club Championship at Nehru stadium on Saturday.

Batting first, ASEB SC managed 252 runs in allotted 40 overs losing 7 wickets. Sumit Saha (78 off 59 balls) and Parag Thakuria (57 off 68 balls) struck half centuries while Chayanmoni Das added 34 runs.

In reply, SG Club could  score 223 runs in 36.1 overs. Harsh Vardhan Gogoi (74 runs) and Raj Hussain (57 off 44 balls) hit half centuries. Zahir Uddin claimed 4 wickets for 34.
