GUWAHATI: Despite a commendable bowling performance from ANA Cricket Academy’s Chinmoy Nath (5-47), River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre secured a hard-fought 2-wicket victory to storm into the semi-finals of the TOPCEM-ASJA U-16 Inter –School and Cricket coaching Centre Cricket Tournament at Nehru Stadium today.
Opting to bat first, ANA Cricket Academy was bowled out for 159 in 39.5 overs. Bedanta Mour anchored the innings with a composed 58, while Abhigyan Neogi chipped in with 23 runs. Aditya Gupta and Dhritiman Kumar impressed with the ball, claiming three wickets each.
In response, River Rine relied on a crucial 76-run knock by Anchit Das to chase down the target in 34.4 overs despite losing 8 wickets. Aditya Gupta provided valuable support with a 34-run contribution.
