GUWAHATI: Guwahati stormed into the final of the JK Baruah U-19 Cricket defeating Tinsukia by 83 runs at Mangaldoi on Wednesday. Elected to bat, Guwahati scored 243 losing all wickets in 49.3 overs. Diwiz Pathak 71(100 balls, 4x3,6x1) was the top scorer and Darshan Agarwal bagged 4/53. In reply Tinsukia failed to capitalize a good knock from Bibek Sharma (77, 97 balls 4x8, 6x3) and were bowled out 160 in 43.3 overs. Ronit Akhtar bowled beautifully in the match and picked up 5 wickets giving away only 11 runs. In the final, Guwahati will face Barpeta on September 16. The match will be held at Barpeta.
