Gym & Fitness centre open at Sarusajai Sports Complex

GUWAHATI: A Gym and Fitness Centre was inaugurated at Sarusajai Sports Complex in the city today. Mahadev Deka, Mr Universe, inaugurated the gym in the presence of a large number of players and coaches. Addressing the gathering Deka advised the athletes to give attention on proper diet and nutrition. Director General of Sports Authority of Assam Onkar Kedia, who was also present in the function, called for making full utilization of the Gym in his speech. He said, “It will be upgraded and further modernized in phases depending upon the need and requirement.”
The other present on this occasions were Dharmakanta Mili, Director, Sports and Youth Welfare, and Administrative Officer of Sports Authority of Assam Kamaljit Talukdar. The Gym at Sarusajai Sports Complex shall cater to the needs of the Athletes from the regular coaching as well as to the Athletes coming for training and Competitions to be held at Sarusajai Sports Complex.
