Hemanta Kalita appointed manager of Indian squad

The secretary of the Assam Amateur Boxing Association and secretary general of the Boxing Federation of India Hemanta Kalita is appointed as the manager of the Indian Boxing team for the forthcoming AIBA Elite Men’s World Boxing Championship. The competition would be held in Belgrade from October 22.

GUWAHATI: The secretary of the Assam Amateur Boxing Association and secretary general of the Boxing Federation of India Hemanta Kalita is appointed as the manager of the Indian Boxing team for the forthcoming AIBA Elite Men's World Boxing Championship. The competition would be held in Belgrade from October 22.

The 22 members' squad will also feature Olympian boxer from Assam Shiva Thapa who will participate Under 63.5 kgs weight category.
