Hima Das statue to be built

NAGAON: State Water Resources Minister Keshab Mahanta on Tuesday announced in the residence of golden girl Hima Das that he would build a statue of Hima soon.

The people of Dhing and AASU have demanded to build a statue of the sprinter. He further said that he would provide necessary fund for construction her statue. Mahanta on Tuesday visited Hima Das’ residence and felicitated her parents.
