Huge win for Bud in 5th Assam Premier Club Championship

GUWAHATI: Bud Cricket club thrashed Santipur AC by 214 runs in the 5th Assam Premier Club Championship tie at Judges Field here today. Invited to bat, Bud scored 299-9 in 40 overs. While Nipan Deka (59, 4X4, 6X2) and Pervez Aziz (57, 4X9) scored half centuries, Diwiz Pathak (45) and Jitu Ali (42) were the other major contributors. Santipur bowled out 85 in 24.3 overs. Pushparaj Sharma (5-30) and Nipan Deka (3-11) came out with two nice spells for Bud. Manoj Das (32) fought lone batter for Santipur with the bat.
