Justina Borgohain In finals Of AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: 3rd seed Justina Borgohain of Assam will lock horns with State mate 2nd seed Tanishqa Patar in the finals of the girls singles under 16 years age group in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament. The final would be held at Chachal Tennis Complex tomorrow. In the semifinals, Justina defeated top seed Oindrila Sen of West Bengal in three gruelling sets 1-6, 6-4, 7-6(4) to reach the finals which was a major upset today. In the other semifinal, 2nd seed Tanishqa easily outclassed unseeded Kaatyayini Vashisth of Assam in straight sets 6-0, 6-1. In the boys singles semifinal, top seed Shahir Farhaz (AS) will play with Arounesh Bora while Pritam Barua will fight with 2nd seed Tushar Paul (AS).
