Kamrup (M) bag best team award in the 3rd Edition of All Assam Shito Ryu Karate Championship

GUWAHATI: Kamrup Metro District emerged as the best team in the 3rd Edition of All Assam Shito Ryu Karate Championship which concluded yesterday at Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium in the city. Guwahati and Bongaigaon District become second and third in the competition. Around 330 players of different groups of Shito-Ryu Karate under UKAA from Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Charaideo, Titabar, Nagaon, Morigaon, Kamrup Metro, Kamrup Rural, Barpeta, Bongaigaon and Dhubri District participated in the meet. UKAA vice president Uday Kumar Sah, joint secretary Hasmat Ali, Hemanta Das, coaches Ramen Pal Das and R. B Gurung were present in the closing function and distributed the prizes.
