Kamrup (Metro) finish top with total 207 medals in the 3rd Edition of All Assam Shotokan Karate Championship

GUWAHATI: Kamrup (Metro) emerged as the best team with total 207 medals including 53 gold, 57 Silver and 97 bronze in the 3rd Edition of All Assam Shotokan Karate Championship which concluded yesterday at DTRP Indoor Stadium in the city. Jorhat team finished second with total 13 medals including 6 gold, 1 Silver and 6 bronze while Kamrup (Rural) bagged third position in the medal tally. The Championship was organised by the Shotokan Karate Do Promotion Council of UKAA in association with Greater Guwahati Karate Do Association.14 districts-Dhuburi, Barpeta, Baksa, Kamrup (Rural), Darrang, Sonitpur, Dhemaji, Tinsukia, Jorhat, Titabar, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong, Nagaon and Kamrup (Metro)- participated in the meet.
