Krish, Manogyana clinch title in OIL – AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: The 5th seed Krish Tyagi of Karnataka lifted the boys U-16 singles title in the OIL – AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament which concluded at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal in the city today. Krish caused a major upset in the final by defeating top seed Debasis Sahoo of Odisha in straight sets 6-0, 6-3. In the girls U-16 final 5th seed Manogyana Madasu of Andhra Pradesh outclassed Nainika Reddy Bendram of Maharashtra 6-4, 6-1 on way to win title. In a brief function the prizes were handed over to the players by Ramanuj Dutta, the General Manager of Oil India Limited and Joint Secretary of All Assam Tennis Association.
