Muktar, Langwa emerge best

GUWAHATI, May 12: The central advance rock-climbing and trekking course concluded in the city today. Altogether 44 climbers from the 12 districts took part in the seven-day course. The closing function was held today at the R G Baruah Sports Complex where awards were given to the selected climbers and team. Muktar Ali from Dhubri clinched the best climber award while Langwa Basumatari from Bongaion received the best trainee award of the camp. On the other hand Rope III collected the best team award. The closing function was attended by Ajoy Tiwari, Commissioner-Secretary of Sports and youth Welfare along with Anjan Sarma, the Director of same department.
