My News NE win soccer title at Nehru Stadium

GUWAHATI: My News NE lifted the Harendra Nath Baruah Inter Media Football title defeating Assam Sports Journalists Association 2-0 in the final at Nehru Stadium here today. Paragjyoti Phukan and Tapesh Kumar scored one goal each in either half of the game. Dilip Kalita of ASJA adjudged the player of the meet award.

The closing function was attended by Dr Anil Kapur, President (Sales & Marketing) of Meghalaya Cement, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Dharmakanta Mili, Sports organizer Rajib Praksh Baruah, Sports promoter Rajiv Saikia and president of Assam Sports Journalists Association Subodh Malla Barua.
