Nalbari Para Sports Association felicitated 5 para athletes in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Nalbari Para Sports Association felicitated five para athletes of the district who won medals in the second State Divyajan Sports meet held in Guwahati this year. The function was organized as a part of Gandhi Jayanti celebration. An awareness programme on Para Sports was also held at the same venue to celebrate Fit India Movement and this event was jointly hosted by Paralympic Association of Assam and Nalbari Para Sports Association. The officials of Nalbari Para Sports Association assured the para athletes of the district to provide all possible helps so that they can excel in their games.

The function was attended by the president and the general secretary of the Nalbari Para Sports Association Abdul Haq and Khagen Chandra Kalita respectively along with general secretary of the Paralympic Association of Assam Rajib Dey and District Sports Officer Karuna Barman.
