National Sports Day observed in Bongaigaon

DHUBRI : National Sports Day, organized by Bongaigaon Sports Academy in association with Hotel Jahnabee Regency, Lower Assam Hospital & Research Center and State Bank of India, was observed to pay tribute to Major Dhyanchand Chand on his birthday anniversary on Sunday.

The event was held at Hotel Jahnabee Regency where Bongaigaon Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka attended as the Chief Guest including prominent doctor and businessman Itesh Bordoloi, AGM of State Bank of India Guru Pada Haldar, Superintendent of GST Debojit Ghosh and international archery coach Sumesh Roy.

Players from Bongaigaon who represented the state at various tournaments were felicitated with some upcoming players.
