GUWAHATI: ND24 will face Pratidin Time in the title clash of the 2nd North East T20 Media Cricket tournament on Tuesday. ND 24 beat Janambhumi by 8 wickets in the semifinal today at Judges Field. Batting first, Janambhumi managed 116 runs in allotted 20 overs losing 6 wickets. Opener BimalRongpi scored 67 off 71 balls while Simanta Barman added 23 runs. AmritGiri and RanjitChangmai took 2 wickets each. In reply, ND 24 reached the target in 14.1 overs losing 2 wickets. Opener AmritGiri hit 49 in 42 balls. Ranjit remained unbeaten at 49 in 31 balls. He was adjudged as the Man of the Match. Vice President of Assam Olympic Association Bishnu Ram Nunisa was present in the brief closing ceremony.
