GUWAHATI: Noonmati Cricket Academy (NCA) emerged victorious over Gauhati Town Club (GTC) by 95 runs in the 10th Sitaram Chhawchharia Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament held at the NFRSA Ground in Maligaon on Tuesday. Opting to bat first, Noonmati CA posted a total of 212 runs in 36.2 overs. Dhiraj Deka top-scored with 59 runs off 61 balls, including seven boundaries. Rohit Dhobi also played a crucial role with the bat, scoring 41 runs off 31 balls, with four boundaries and three sixes. Anurag Kr Sinha contributed 37 runs off 32 balls, smashing four boundaries. For Gauhati Town Club, Mahdananda Borah and Ajay Das were the standout bowlers, taking three wickets each. In reply, Gauhati Town Club could only manage 117 runs in 31.2 overs. Victory Kashyap was the highest run-scorer for his team with 34 runs. Rajib Das bagged 3-33.
