NOS, Jitendranath win at Inter School Cricket Tournament

GUWAHATI: NOS school and Jitendranath School won their respective matches in the 13th All Assam Mrigen Sarma Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament held at the Latasil ground here today. In the first game NOS beat Modern English School (Geetanagar) by 7 wickets. Jitendranath in the other match defeated Modern Eng High School ( Bharalumukh) by identical margin.

Brief scores: 1st Match :Modern English High School (Geetanagar) 120 (17.4 Overs), Nayanmoni Sarania 32, Subrajit Seal 3/23, Mrinmoy Kalita 3/27(Hattrick), Pappu Paswan 2/23, NOS 121/3 (14.2 Overs), Debanga Bikash 50 (no), Rahul Boro 2/10.

2nd Match : Modern 110 (20 Overs), Sekharan Das 32, Nikesh Patel 21, Biraj Patgiri 3/11,Sumit Choudhuri 2/25;Jitendranath 111/3 (18.4 overs), Biraj Patgiri 32, Sumit Choudhury 29 (no), Hirakjyoti Mahanta 20 (no), Tushar Barman 2/28.
