Roshni upsets Kaatyayini Vashisth in 4th Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship

GUWAHATI: Unseeded Roshni Baradwaj caused a major upset beating fourth seed Kaatyayini Vashisth 4-1, 4-1 in the girl’s singles (U-14) quarterfinal match of the 4th Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship 2020 held at the RG Baruah Sports Complex here today. The other seeded players moved into the next round. The championship is being held for both boy’s and girl’s singles U–12, 14 and 18 years and boy’s doubles (U-14) and carries a total scholarship of Rs 1,82 lakh.
