Sidhant, Monalisha win medals in National Weightlifting Championship

GUWAHATI: Monalisha Sonowal of Assam clinched bronze medal in the Inter-State event of the Senior National Weightlifting Championship held at Visakhapatnam today. Monalisha, took part in the 55kg category, lifted 76kg in snatch and 98kg in Clean and Jerk. Meanwhile, Sidhant Gogoi of Assam crowned bronze in 61kg category of National event and gold medal in Inter-State event. He lifted 113kg in snatch and 146 kg in Clean and Jerk.
