Silchar, Kamrup win in 11th Veteran Inter District Cricket Championship

GUWAHATI: Silchar and Kamrup entered into the quarterfinals of the 11th Veteran Inter District and Inter Institutions Cricket Championship held at Mangaldoi today. Silchar defeated Golaghat by 3 wickets.

The highlights of the match were a five-wicket haul from vice president of ACA Parkishit Dutta who represented Goalghat along with two half century knocks from Manjit Buragohain (64, Golaghat) and Masarob Hussain Laskar (67, Silchar). In the other game Kamrup won against Tinsukia by six wickets. Mukut Kalita of winning outfit played a responsible knock off 41 balls 51 runs.
