Sports Authority of Assam will organise a Workshop for Swimming Coaches

GUWAHATI: Sports Authority of Assam, in association with Assam Swimming Association, will organise a Workshop for swimming coaches from tomorrow. The three-day camp will be held at the Sarusajai Sports Complex. Eighteen Swimming coaches will take part in the Workshop from across the State and the Workshop aims at capacity building of swimming coaches at the grassroots level by giving them exposure to modern methods of training. Several experts of the game will share their opinion on important topics like Mental Wellness, Fitness for Training, Common injuries in Swimmers and their prevention, basic Nutrition for Swimmers, Novice training, Swimming techniques, etc in the workshop through online webinar.
