GUWAHATI: Triranga Cricket Coaching Centre registered a 32-run victory over Cricket Coaching Academy, Noonmati in the 10th Sitaram Chhawchharia Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament at the NFRSA Ground in Maligaon on Sunday.
The match, reduced to 20 overs per side due to early morning rain, saw Triranga bat first and post 102/7. Dipankar Paul top-scored with 27 runs, while Rajesh Ray (2/14), Rohit Dhobi (2/20), and Bishal Nag (2/22) shared the wickets for Noonmati.
In response, Cricket Coaching Academy Noonmati were bundled out for 70 in 17.2 overs. Vikram Rai offered resistance with 24 runs, but lacked support from the other end. Priyangshu Paul (3/9) and Anirudh Rai (3/10) were instrumental in Triranga’s win with their disciplined bowling.
