Unified Karate bag top spot at 5th Guwahati District Karate Championship

GUWAHATI: Unified Karate Guild bagged best team award in the 5th Guwahati District Karate Championship that concluded at the DTRP Stadium in the city on Sunday. Unified Karate Guild bagged 95 medals which included 35 gold, 26 silver and 34 bronze. Panjabari Karate Do Academy (56 medals) and Assam Sports karate Academy (58 medals) finished second and third respectively. The closing ceremony of the competition was attended by Angoorlata Deka, the president of Assam State Women’s Commission, as the chief guest.
