Unified Karate Guild win first position in the 3rd Guwahati Karate Championship

GUWAHATI: Unified Karate Guild won the 1st position with 30 gold, 18 silver and 26 bronze medals in the 3rd Guwahati Karate Championship that came to an end at the Nabin Chandra Bordoloi In-door stadium at the Sarusajai Sports complex here on Sunday.

While Assam Sports Karate Academy finished second with 19 gold, 25 silver and 30 bronze medals, Panjabari Karate Academy bagged the third spot with 15 gold, 13 silver and 26 bronze medals. Around 1200 players from 49 clubs participated in the competition which was held in sub junior, cadet, junior, U-21 and senior categories.
