Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) felicitates Devajit Saikia

GUWAHATI: Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) felicitated Secretary of Assam Cricket Association Devajit Saikia on being appointed as the 18th Advocate General of Assam in presence of President, VCAA, Naba Konwar, Working President Pranab Sharma, General Secretary Nasir Gul Khan, Treasurer Tanmay Jyoti Mahanta, Advisor Shankar Datta Lahkar here at his residence on Sunday.

Speaking on behalf of VCAA, Nasir Gul Khan extended heartiest congratulations to Saikia and said that with Saikia at the helm of ACA as Secretary, the organization has found a new lease of life, which has found an expression in the series of cricket infrastructure development projects undertaken by Assam Cricket Association across the State under his leadership. He also lauded Saikia's effort and initiative in making ACA bear the medical expenses of several former and current cricket players of Assam.
