Veterans Doubles Tennis begins in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The 1st All Assam Chachal Tennis Championship for Veterans players in the age group of above 35, 45, 55, 65 and ladies above 35 years started today at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex in the city. Altogether 63 teams participated in the different categories from all over the State. In a glittering opening ceremony Subhash Chandra Das, the Life President of All Assam Tennis Association, inaugurated the tournament in the presence of AATA Secretary Ankush Dutta and other dignitaries. The finals of the tournament will be held tomorrow and it would be followed by the award function.
