VM Trophy: Assam suffer innings

GUWAHATI: Assam suffered one innings and 98 runs defeat against Tripura in a VM Trophy U-16 cricket tie at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara here today.

Entire team today bowled out paltry 100 runs in their second innings. Shivam Mittal (61) fought lone battle for Assam as seven batsmen of home team failed to score double-figure runs. Earlier in reply to Assam first innings 116 Tripura bowled out 314 in their first innings.
