India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Croatian partner Ivan Dodig advanced to the men's doubles pre-quarter-finals of the US Open with a hard-earned victory over the pair of Hugo Nys of Monaco and Arthur Rinderknech of France, in New York, on Saturday night. The 13th seeded Indo-Croatian pair beat their unseeded opponents 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, in an hour and 56 minutes.

Bopanna-Dodig converted all the three break chances they earned and also saved three of the five break-points they faced.
