Following the history scripted by India's ace javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra during the Tokyo Olympics, the 23-year-old athlete from Panipat set additional astounding records when he won the gold medal at Men's Javelin during Tokyo Olympics.

Apart from bagging a gold medal, Chopra also became the first Asian athlete to emerge victorious in the javelin competition at the Olympics.

Furthermore, Neeraj also became the first Indian track and field athlete to become an Olympic champion.

But despite his star performance at the Olympics, social media trollers on a satirical note are regarding Actor Chiranjeevi's javelin throw in 1999 the film which is going viral as India's 'first gold medal'.

The hilarious video depicts South Superstar Chiranjeevi performing some unachievable feat with his javelin that crosses over the track and hits the judges' table. The social media fraternity is going gaga over this javelin throw feat by the superstar and have been claiming this to be India's first gold medal in Javelin throw.

It may be mentioned that despite the satirical pun on the social media, Neeraj Chopra has been undoubtedly considered as one of India's brightest medal prospects for the Tokyo Olympics. The young track-and-field athlete shot to the limelight when he set a new world junior record in 2016.

There has been no looking back for Neeraj ever since then and according to his coach, he has only bettered his achievements, winning the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games gold medals in 2018. Neeraj's consistency in the game has made the world notice the Indian star. The doubts if any, were further clarified when the athlete delivered on the biggest stages of the sport, the Olympics.

Neeraj Chopra with his unconditional calm behavior along with a star swag was evident during the Tokyo Olympics. In the qualification round, all Neeraj needed was just one throw. He landed his spear at 86.65m and topped the qualifying round. He saw the spear soar into the sky, land over the automatic qualification mark after which he packed his bags and left. Now that's some swag for the Indian athlete which stunned the world in the greatest sporting arenas of all times.
