Sports organizer Mukut passes away due to post COVID-19 infection

GUWAHATI: Former President of Assam Weightlifting Association Abdul Requib, popularly known as Mukut, passed away in the city yesterday due to post COVID-19 infection. The veteran sports organizer, who was also an advocate in Gauhati High Court, earlier associated with Assam Amateur Boxing Association too. Both Assam Weightlifting Association and Assam Amateur Boxing Association mourned the death of Abdul Requib.
