Dubai: The much-awaited T20 World Cup has commenced from October 17 and the final match is set to take place on November 14.
The qualifier round will begin on October 17 and will end to October 22 while the super 12 round will take place from October 23 and will end on November 8. After this, knock-out round will start on November 10.
Abu Dhabi will witness the semi-final while the second semi-final will be played in Dubai on November 11.
In the ICC T20 World Cup, a total of 45 games will be played. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has divided the teams into four groups like two groups for the Super 12s and two groups for the qualifier stage.
India
The men in blue have been in placed in Group B of the tournament with Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan. Virat Kohli-led India will start its campaign against Pakistan.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the demand for cancelling the match between India and Pakistan is gathering pace in the wake of targeted killings in Jammu and Kashmir.
Reportedly, Union Minister Giriraj Singh has asked for reconsideration due to tensed relationship between the countries.
''Since, the relations between the two countries are not good, I think the match between them should be reconsidered,'' he said when asked, if the match should be held.
