Tezpur In Driver's Seat In JK Baruah Cricket

GUWAHATI: Tezpur took control over Hojai on day I in the JK Baruah Cricket at Amingaon Cricket ground here today. Rode on a fine century from Bastab (113), Tezpur scored 200 in the first innings. Sheikh Hasan Saharaj bagged 52-6. Hojai were struggling in the first innings and scored 60-7 in their first innings at stumps. At the Nehru Stadium, in reply to Tinsukia's first innings total 252, Biswnath were 101-5 in their first innings when the first day's play came to an end. Abhishek Patel (81) and Gaurav (70) scored half centuries for Tinsukia.
