Thunders FC win title

Jacky Rapung of TFC scored the first goal in the first half which was cut off by a spectacular goal of Robin Blai of TAFC.

Both the club made all efforts in the extra time but resulted to a draw which led to the penalty shootout.

The best player of the league was awarded to Tailyang Cosy of Bantaram Gyadi FC (BAFC), best goalkeeper to Rilo Riang of TAFC while Tapi Hake of Dang Warrior (DWFC) was awarded the highest scorer of the league award.

Meanwhile, the emerging player of the tournament was awarded to Gyammar Nikum of Sawa Sporting Club (SSC), the discipline team was bagged by Sanghcha Ajing FC (SAFC) and fan club winner was SSC.

The final match was attended by the former Indian captain Baichung Bhutia along with sports minister Mama Natung and BJP legislator Goruk Pordung.
