Dubai: Fitness issue has once again has put Varun Chakravarthy into trouble as he limped off the field during the 2nd Qualifier against Delhi Capitals.

As the news spread, the fans of Chakravarthy are worried as he is already suffering with some knee injuries.

The noted commentator, Harsha Bhogle who is in UAE for the 2nd phase of IPL, revealed that Chakravarthy left the field.

As per reports, the player is suffering from the injuries and he would have rested if it wasn't for T20 world cup.

His knees are not in good condition. Chakravarthy is dealing with pain and believe me had it not been a T20 World Cup, the Indian team management wouldn't have taken him on the field by taking risk,'' a news agency quoted a source as saying.

Chakravarthy's injuries are concern for the men in blue and its management. He was one of the spinners preferred over Yuzvendra Chahal for a place in the World Cup squad. He is likely to start before R Ashwin and Rahul Chahar.

Reportedly, Chakravarthy has been dealing with fitness issues since his maiden call-up. The player was about to tour Austraila for three T20Is after last year IPL but due to shoulder issue he was ruled out. However, he managed to retain his spot for the home series against Engalnd but later he was out after failing a fitness test.
