As per reports, the player is suffering from the injuries and he would have rested if it wasn't for T20 world cup.
His knees are not in good condition. Chakravarthy is dealing with pain and believe me had it not been a T20 World Cup, the Indian team management wouldn't have taken him on the field by taking risk,'' a news agency quoted a source as saying.
Chakravarthy's injuries are concern for the men in blue and its management. He was one of the spinners preferred over Yuzvendra Chahal for a place in the World Cup squad. He is likely to start before R Ashwin and Rahul Chahar.
