GUWAHATI: Assam women cricket team displayed one of their worst performances in the U-19 Women Cricket against Hyderabad at Rajkot on Saturday. Hyderabad won the tie by 8 wickets.

Electing to bat, Assam were bowled out paltry 42 runs in 19.1 overs. Only two batters Gyatri Gurung and Amontika Munda, both scored 17 runs each were successful to reach double-figure. On the other hand five batswomen failed to open their account. G Trisha and M Sakshi Rao were the wreckers in chief for Hyderabad. Trisha took 4 wickets giving away only a single run while Sakshi also scalped 4 wickets for 5 runs.

In reply Hyderabad needed just 11.1 overs to reach the target.
